Located in the quaint village of Killeagh, a stop on the Midleton to Youghal Greenway, you will be staying close to the seaside villages of Ardmore and Ballycotton, the historic towns of Lismore and Youghal and the market towns of Dungarvan and Midleton, where the Copper Coast and the Comeragh and Knockmealdown Mountains are within easy reach and Cork City is but a thirty-minute drive away.
Designed with a classic contemporary ethos, where hand-crafted quality-made pieces are incorporated into the build to create a simple sophistication, reflecting our individual style here at Dromdiah Lodge. Featuring a neutral colour palette, king size bespoke beds, wet room drencher showers, ensuite underfloor heating, Nespresso machines, and writers desks to allow you to focus your thoughts in a calm space.

Our accommodation consists of two boutique ensuite rooms, each with a stunning king size bed and en-suite complete with walk-in rain drencher shower to help you unwind, encompassed by the warmth of underfloor heating. Each room also contains a functional writers desk and Nespresso machine, complete with all the necessary accompaniments.
Our suites are designed in a contemporary classic style, with locally hand crafted and bespoke pieces. Sea views are an especially stunning feature from some of our rooms as the sun rises and sets on Dromdiah Lodge and help to ground us to the beauty of nature surrounding our retreat.

The Studio at Dromdiah Lodge is the perfect place to put pen to paper, whatever your medium.
The quiet and solitude of the tranquil surrounds allow writers of all descriptions the space and seclusion to write undisturbed.
We have equipped The Studio with everything we think you could need to achieve your creative goals.
The Studio has double door access, an abundance of natural light through sash windows, easels, greenscreens, plentiful power outlets and generous storage space. We will always do our best to cater to any special requests, so do please let us know how we can make your stay the best it can be.
We have a grá for music at Dromdiah Lodge, and we have equipped The Studio accordingly.

Who we are and our vision for Dromdiah Lodge
Paudrig Lee
ProprietorI wanted to create a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature. A space to work, to play & to recharge
Paudrig has a background in hospitality and his interests include music, photography, art, architecture, history & archaeology, writing and gardening.
Paudrig wants guests to feel inspired and creative, and to feel that The Studio at Dromdiah Lodge is the ideal space for any artist to develop their vision and body of work, while having the freedom to rest and dream in luxury accommodation in the historic rural village of Killeagh.
With this vision, Paudrig has created a boutique artist retreat in East Cork, giving you a space to relax and unwind, allowing your vision to be forged in your mind whilst exploring the lush fields, castle ruins, ancient woodland and some of the most stunning beaches in all of Ireland.
